First we were looking at manga and I somehow made almost all of Otomen fall off the shelves right in front of the shelf-stocking dude. ♔ Shopping today was fun, even though I was exhausted as fuck. Not gonna lie, I stayed up until five in the morning rereading After School Nightmare and then was too giddy to sleep. 8| And then woke up at 11AM to get dressed so we could make it to the restaurant before lunch hours ended.

Bought some pants, but I think I might return them next time we go out. idk I'm being really anal about spending money sd;glj;g I only have around $3500 left in my savings, and now my mom is saying it would possibly be a bad idea to get a job since I'll be taking a super!long vacation only a few months after I'm hired. idek. But I think she's talking full-time jobs. Would a part-time job be that strict? ANYWAY. After spending $100 on S☆S goods I think I should keep my spending to maybe $10 a week. At the most. Yesterday my mom asked what I want to do on my actual birthday, and... idk. I told her I want to eat watermelon, because that just seems like the ideal thing to do in the beginning of July, but then she gave me The Look that says "you know that's not what I meant, dumbass." But I don't particularly have anything I want to do on Sunday, so I'll probably end up lazing around and spending my birthday reading yaoi manga and avoiding the telephone like the plague. FUN TIMES.

So now I should probably go shower and get dressed because I need to get a haircut, and I'm considering picking out a cute color to dye my hair for the summer. ♔ I also got Mizushiro Setona's Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru. It's huge--tightly bound it's about an inch thick, even though the paper size is smaller than most manga. I've only glanced through it so far, but it does a good job of upholding the idea that Mizushiro does the yaoi genre great justice. Holy shit. There are points where Ootomo actually takes the initiative (which is as shocking as it sounds) and tops and it's pretty much the hottest thing ever.

♔ Yesterday tsu_zilla gave me two birthday presents early: two 4koma Kaito/Master comics by Yuzuru. (Or Yuduru, as she romanizes her own name. Her birthday is actually the day before mine! 8D /fun fact?)

♔ Listened to the drama CD for Oogura Muku's Sentimental Garden Lover yesterday and rather enjoyed it (aside from the hardcore second-hand embarrassment from listening to the seiyuu trying to meow omfg). So cute, especially the story with Taki and Shima. I love stories where animals turn into people because they fall in love with a human, idek. There's something so ridiculously adorable about it. Though the one with Fuji and Hiro weirded me out, because Fuji was still technically a cat. 8| That was... odd. But I'm willing to overlook it.

♔ Steph and I also started watching K-ON!, which was spurred by a thread on /cm/ where the girls were drawn as boys. You know, why aren't there any moe shows with boys instead of girls? You don't see that very often. It would be quite relevant to my interests.

♔ Also, tsu_zilla gave me a Norway/Iceland doujinshi. The art isn't too great but. Seriously. It's Norway/Iceland. I'm not going to be picky with that.

♔ I've somehow gotten way behind in both Karneval and Amatsuki. 8| Bah. If it weren't the weekend where I'll be out of the house most of the time, that's what I'd be wasting all of my time doing.

There's this yaoi manga I read quite a while ago and I totally can't remember the name or author at all. I'm trying to find it again by retracing my steps and checking every yaoi manga on MF (oh my god you guys my lifffffffe) but it has thus far been fruitless. So I was hoping MAYBE someone on my flist would recognize it because otherwise I'll have to ask on a manga comm and sd;gljsdl;jg embarrassing.

But does that ring a bell to ANYONE? sd;glih;ldg;d I cannot find it for the life of me, and I've read so much yaoi manga since then that all the titles sound the same and I can't recall the art style used or anything. 8| It was one volume, probably five or six chapters.

I'm not ever sure why I'm so obsessed with finding it again ugh. But it's bothering me and it'll keep bothering me until I find it.

I bought so much crap this weekend you guys. orz Ookami (the game) for $10, Duck Prince vol. 1-3 for $15, Toumei Shounen vol. 1 in Japanese for $1, Otomen vol. 2 for $5, and Shinobi Life vol. 1 for $10. Man. I suck at this "I do not have an income and should not be buying unnecessary shit" thing. Thank god for used book stores.

♔ I have started an insane love affair with the pairing Norway/Iceland from Hetalia. (Bonus points for Denmark threesome if it's done right.) Which is bad for a couple of reasons, mostly being that there's a general lack of content for the pairing aside from art on Pixiv.

But there is so much gorgeous fanart sd;ljf; and (to me) they're probably the ~*~prettiest~*~ boys in Hetalia. And anyone who knows me at least remotely well knows that I'm pretty much a huge sucker for anything with a pretty face. Especially a male with a pretty face. ♔ Nico Singer Fanart ❤ Possibly because only so much VOCALOID fanart can get posted in a specific amount of time, I've also picked up the habit of following the 「歌い手描いてみた」 tag on Pixiv. Mainly I try to find art for ASK, Anima, clear, Annyy and 5coma, but through the art I've found a lot of new singers I really love.

♔ Gojou ❤ Speaking of VOCALOID art (kind of), I'm attempting to buy a doujinshi by Gojou. While I love Yoshiki for her cute, sweet KAITO and Akaito fanart, Gojou probably draws the best of the more "beautiful" VOCALOID boys. It's stunning, no joke. And she draws the best Master/KAITO ffffff EXCITINGU.

♔ Homerun Ken manga ❤ Homerun Ken's manga is generally pretty perverted, and she writes a lot of shota, but something about her art is so finished and pretty and shiny that I don't think I could hate anything she were to put out. Her character designs are always so lovely.

♔ This video ❤ Not safe for work, since it's an MAD combination of Reporn and an H game called Popotan. Panty shots and hinted masturbation abound. I've only read seven chapters of Reborn (most of what I've learned of the series is... from 4chan orz) and the song isn't even good but I can't stop watching it over and over and over. idek.

♔ The other day it struck me that, HEY, Y'KNOW, it wouldn't be so bad to actually read or watch something that has substance. (If you can call it that.) So I decided to finally finish Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and pick up Litchi Hikari Club. SZS, I actually started (and liked) a long time ago. I was thinking I'd read the manga since I failed at the anime, but... the manga scanlations are all over the place. SO ANIME IT IS. As for Litchi Hikari Club, there aren't really words to describe it so I recommend everyone try it for themselves.



As a warning, though, it's pretty guro. If you don't like seeing people getting sliced open for the sake of a giant artificial human, I recommend backing away.

♔ I've also been reading the book for The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, which I much prefer to the anime. Haruhi is slightly more likable, and still just as insane.

♔ Since my dad's computer is still dead (well, the internet anyway) he's been geeking out lately reading computer books and having long conversations with guys at computer shops. Which lead him to think it would be fun to build his own computer, and then talk me into agreeing. BUT IT SOUNDS EXPENSIVE, so. Not as expensive as needing to buy an entire new computer every few years, but expensive nonetheless.

♔ Um. Aside from that there's nothing much to talk about. Over the past week my health has been really bad and I've had a practically constant headache. I don't know if it's from maybe pulling a muscle in my neck, toothache, etc. that could be causing it.

I've been going out with Steph a lot, since it's summer. I've been wasting countless hours on Vocaloid Search trying to find websites you don't need a user pass to get into or a Japanese cellphone to sign up for, etc. GOOD TIMES. Now I think I'll go waste another hour on S☆S.

The things I like at the moment should be pretty obvious if you look at my icons or interests. External links (last.fm, Twitter, etc.) should all be in my user info. I'm not picky about the people who friend me--as long as you aren't constantly a moody asshole for no reason, we should get along okay.

I sometimes post public entries, but that's generally only for a short period of time before I go "OH SHIT, I'M LETTING PEOPLE KNOW HOW RETARDED I AM!" and then f-lock everything again.
